Blendon Woods was now my unofficial winter and early spring haunt. The variety of waterfowl there is reliable and second to none. The walk from the car is pleasant and quiet, not too long to be out in the cold, and you can always warm back up in the nature center and watch the feeders. Go often enough, and you'll see just about everything. This time, I saw my first Redheads.
