121. Sharp-shinned Hawk

Location     Chief Logan, near Chilicothe, OH

As we were setting up our tents, I heard a big ruckus nearby (a bird screeching). We spotted him on a nearby tree eating a bird. He was kind of backlit, but I remember noting how thin his legs were.

Today, I wonder if he really was a sharpie. I felt certain at the time, so I will simply trust that.
